CELEBRATE WITH US!
Tuesday, February 21st, marks Riley’s 4th birthday. Many of you who have followed Riley’s story are aware that early on, her family was told that this day would most likely not occur. How grateful and blessed we are to be able to celebrate this milestone event!
A huge prayer was answered recently when Riley qualified for Medicaid, which will provide significant assistance in covering the night nurses that allow Becca and Josh to get sleep. However, the transition from individually-contracted nurses to a Medicaid-approved nursing agency is taking more time than expected…and Riley’s funds are running low.
Many of you have supported Riley and her family through a variety of ways, including financially via the 5k Run and Golf Tournament. Your support gives the family strong encouragement. We need about $3,000 to cover this transition period so we are throwing a big online 4th birthday party. No balloons, no cake, no ice cream, no piñata…and in lieu of presents, we are asking folks to send ten bucks to Riley’s Trust Fund to help the family get through.
